We have a ( nearly ) 60 walking group every Sunday, that walk from Fairford to Coln, stop for a coffee and cake, then walk back to Fairford via Quenington. This started with me in Covid, where I used to sit under the tree outside your front door, just to get out. All of us are born and breed in Fairford or Lechlade. We always enter the store and are greeted by the young team, smiling and taking an order, and always support by bring this out to us, outside allowing us to go and sit, not wait in the shop. It’s great to see a community Shop having young people start there customer facing roles, indeed my step son did his Duke of Edinburgh at Coln stores some 5 year plus years ago
Gail your warmth and smile and a little banter is also greatly received by us all, and I’m sure the whole community is grateful to have such a nice person in the shop, keep up the great work and the smiles we always receive on a Sunday morning, all the best.
